Information We Collect

Quik-Calc is a calculator tool. We collect minimal data to provide our services:

• Calculator inputs: Numbers you enter into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to our servers.
• Email correspondence: If you email us (for example, to report an error or ask a question), we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include, and we use it only to handle your inquiry.
• Calculator results: All calculators show their core results without requiring any contact information.
• Lead information (optional): If Quik-Calc offers an optional follow-up form in the future and you choose to share your name and email through it, we would store it — along with the calculator name, your IP address, and browser user-agent (used for spam protection) — to follow up with relevant information.
• Usage data: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, including pages viewed and device/browser information. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers. See Google's privacy documentation for more information about how Analytics processes data.
• Local storage: Quik-Calc stores your analytics-cookie choice in your browser using local storage (quikcalc_cookie_consent). If an optional follow-up form is offered in the future, additional local-storage use associated with that feature will be disclosed when it is enabled. Google Analytics and, if enabled, AdSense may use cookies and similar identifiers for analytics and advertising.
• Your cookie choice: A cookie banner is available on every page that uses analytics (via the banner or the Privacy choices link in the footer); it lets you allow or refuse analytics cookies. Accepting updates your choice immediately; refusing keeps analytics cookies off. Declining does not prevent all network requests to Google: in declined state, Google Analytics may still send limited, cookieless measurement pings, and cookies/identifiers are not used for measurement until you accept. You can revisit your choice by clearing this site's local storage entry (quikcalc_cookie_consent) or the Privacy choices link in the footer. This choice concerns analytics/measurement only and is not advertising consent; if advertising is ever enabled, any advertising-related consent would be requested separately at that time.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve our calculator tools
• To respond to inquiries if you submit your contact information
• Quik-Calc may use Google AdSense to display advertisements if ad serving is enabled
• To analyze site usage and improve user experience

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google AdSense: Quik-Calc does not currently serve ads. If and when advertising is enabled, Quik-Calc may display advertisements through Google AdSense. In that case, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and/or other sites; Google's use of advertising cookies may enable it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites. If personalized advertising is used, you can opt out through Google Ads Settings. Choosing non-personalized ads does not eliminate cookies or device identifiers: non-personalized ads may still use cookies or similar identifiers for functions such as frequency capping and aggregated reporting. Whether personalized or non-personalized advertising will be used has not yet been decided. Before serving advertising in jurisdictions where consent is required, Quik-Calc intends to use a consent management tool that meets Google's publisher requirements; no consent tool has been installed yet.
• Google Analytics: Helps us understand site traffic, including pages viewed and device/browser information. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers; see Google's privacy documentation for details.

Data Retention

If lead information is ever collected through a future optional form, it is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Object to processing of your personal data

Children's Privacy

Our calculators are general-purpose tools. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
